On-site bidding numbers cannot be used for online bidding and vise versa. These are separate registration numbers.

Proxy bid.

Let us know the maximum you’d like to spend and we’ll take care of the rest.

Your purchase will be obtained at the lowest bidding increment possible. We will bid on your behalf, going up to and including the maximum amount you specify.

The simplest way to explain the process: we use your money as if you were on site.

For example:

You’d like to spend a maximum of $10,000 on a vehicle. When the vehicle is up for auction the auctioneer announces a proxy is on hand. At the appropriate time, the auctioneer will bid on your behalf. The dollar amount of the proxy is always confidential. The first bid is taken from the crowd at $1000. The auctioneer will then bid on your behalf using the next increment – $2000. He then asks the last bidder if they would like to bid $3000. This banter goes back and forth until your money runs out or you are the highest bidder. After the lot is sold, your name will be announced so the other bidders know who they were bidding against. This promotes transparency.

Sometimes the successful bid is your max amount. We record our sales to promote honesty and integrity, you can request to listen to the sale recording at any time for any item.

Sometimes the increments go in such a way that the successful bidder on site has bid your max bid. We use our best efforts to avoid this scenario, but if your money has run out we cannot bid anymore on your behalf.
