Watch the clip below to find out how to bid on auction day!

The simplest way to explain the process: We use your money as if you were on site.

Let us know the maximum you’d like to spend and we’ll take care of the rest. Your purchase will be obtained at the lowest bidding increment possible. We will bid on your behalf, going up to and including the maximum amount you specify.

For example:

You’d like to spend a maximum of $10,000 on a vehicle.

When the vehicle is up for auction the auctioneer announces a proxy is on hand. At the appropriate time, the auctioneer will bid on your behalf. The dollar amount of the proxy is always kept confidential.

The first bid is taken from the crowd at $1000. The auctioneer will then bid on your behalf using the next increment – $2000. He then asks the last bidder if they would like to bid $3000. This banter goes back and forth until your money runs out or you are the highest bidder.

After the lot is sold, your name will be announced so the other bidders know who they were bidding against. This promotes transparency.

Sometimes the successful bid is your max amount. We record our sales to promote honesty and integrity, you can request to listen to the sale recording at any time for any item.

Sometimes the increments go in such a way that the successful bidder on site has bid your maximum proxy bid. We use our best efforts to avoid this scenario, but if your money has run out we cannot bid anymore on your behalf.

Successful proxy bidders are required to pay in addition to the purchase price and additional taxes.

Purchase price of $2,500 or less

*2.5% proxy fee per lot – minimum $10

*2.5% proxy fee per lot – minimum $10 to a maximum of $500 per lot
